laser pre-treatment care

(ultra, clarity 2, morpheus8, vascular, laser hair removal, keralase, pigmentation)

2 weeks before:

• No sun exposure where you’re actively tanning or burn 
• No self tanner/spray tan use
• Discontinue any antibiotics/photosensitizing medication use. Always consult with your Primary Care Provider prior to discontinuing any medication use. 

3-5 days before:

• Discontinue any retinol/tretinoin/hydroquinone use to the treatment area(s)
• Discontinue any AHA/BHA’s to the treatment area(s) (Salicylic, glycolic, lactic acids, etc) 
• Avoid hair coloring/bleaching appointments as the chemicals can temporarily sensitize the skin

day of treatment recommendations:

• Please arrive in comfortable clothes that you don’t mind potentially getting messy 
• Avoid applying any makeup to the face/neck if they’re being treated
• Wash your hair the evening prior or morning of treatment (Applicable for face/neck/chest/scalp treatments: Morpheus8, Lutronic Ultra **Mandatory for Keralase**)
