Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, Sculptra Aesthetic is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA)-based treatment. Once injected (see above) it works deep within the skin to stimulate collagen production, reinforcing the skins inner structure and restoring its volume.

Who is Sculptra for?

Is there any downtime?
Mild swelling, bruising or discomfort may be present in first few days and possibly up to a week. This is normal and can happen wth any injectable treatments.
When will I see results?
Although you will see some fullness the first day, that is just the water that is used as a carrier, and it will be absorbed over the course of the next few days.
You will start to see true results at around week 3-4, and they will intensify until the 8 week mark. Please note that sculptra is a process, and your full results will be seen after your final Sculptra session.
Your Sculptra Journey
Most patients require 2-3 sessions, 2 months apart. Depending on you anatomy, age, and aesthetiic goals, 1-2 vials per session will be required.
After that, an annual treatment is suggested for upkeep.
